Shot Glasses in Crystal
An old Italian family tradition involves offering liqueurs to guests. In the past, most of these liqueurs were homemade. Each family had its own recipe, one that was kept more or less secret. Most mammas were proud of their rosolio or limoncello or nocino liquor.
The ingredients were simple and natural, mostly alcohol, sugar, and spices. It often happened, though, that these liqueurs were so good that they were drunk before there was a chance to offer them to guests. They were precious and rare, so the glasses had to be small. Crystal glasses were developed just for these nectars; today shot glasses in Italy are often named after the liquor they were supposed to contain.
Our shot glasses are handmade in the lush countryside around Florence, Italy, and are perfect for your own homemade liquor or simply for a good vodka.
