Why Italian Home Cooking and Entertaining?
Well, because I am Italian and I love cooking and entertaining. I was born in Florence Italy and moved in the US in 1998. First Chicago, than Los Angeles, and finally Eugene, Oregon. I got married with a wonderful woman I saw walking towards me in a tulip garden in Fiesole. I have a kid and I miss only certain things of Italy. Food is one of them. I intend to bring you the real ingredients and flavors of Italian cooking and entertaining. As you do it at home. I will use some audios because it is easier for me to speak than writing in a language other than Italian. But in case you cannot make sense out of what I am saying because of my accent (a good friend of mine says that to make sense of what I say is a bit like listening to “Deadwood” … it takes a few episodes to getting accustomed to it) there will be transcripts or summaries available on the blog. And of course the recipes. Unfortunately though also the transcripts are done mostly by me so in case you get lost in grammar errors, please ask and I will answer your questions. If you came here you are looking for a real Italian experience after all, and accents and grammar flaws are a part of it.
